Understanding Qingming: More Than a Holiday
Qingming (Tomb-Sweeping Day) is an ancient Chinese tradition dating back over 2,500 years. It falls in early April, when spring is in full bloom.
What it means:
Families honor their ancestors by visiting gravesites, cleaning headstones, offering flowers or food, and burning incense. It’s a time of remembrance, gratitude, and the continuity of family.
But it’s also about spring:
The word “Qingming” means “clear and bright.” People fly kites, enjoy green hills, and step into nature — because life is meant to be celebrated, not only mourned.
At AllGreen, we see a beautiful parallel.
Light, like memory, should never fade. And outdoor spaces — gardens, pathways, courtyards, streets — deserve illumination that is respectful, reliable, and in harmony with the natural world.
Whether it’s a solar garden light glowing softly at night, or an LED street light guiding safe passage — we build for moments that matter.
Our Qingming schedule:
Off for 3 days (April 4–6) | Back to work on April 7
Wishing everyone a peaceful Qingming — may the light of remembrance stay bright.
